Situation
The Corporate Division of the organization has ordered the client to upgrade the enterprise budget and financial planning system. The current system no longer adequately addresses the needs of the end user and the support staff impacted throughout the process.
Opportunity
Jordayn Consulting was requested to conduct an impact and risk management assessment on the project during the Initiation phase to define the project scope better.
Action
The client’s project team selected Anaplan, an integrated enterprise planning tool. The recommendation from the assessment was to provide the following executable plans:
· Communication Plan: will outline the who, what, why, and how of the change.
· The Sponsorship Plan will support the Executive sponsor in promoting awareness and forming coalitions for the change.
· Training Plan: outlines an effective approach for a successful end-user training curriculum.
Results
The project is underway and set to be fully implemented in the 2026 budget planning cycle
