Situation
The client needs to reduce current services provided that are no longer profitable in their portfolio.
Opportunity
Jordayn Consulting was hired to conduct a business process improvement assessment of the current approach with the client’s marketing team.
Action
A 4-month Marketing Profitability Study was launched, which was responsible for restructuring the strategic plan to achieve 20% revenue growth for the products and services offered by a major high-tech company. The products and services provided included the following
categories: Internet access, bandwidth, co-location, web hosting, web design, and managed services.
Results
The following business process improvements were recommended, along with several quick-win deliverables for the client project team:
· Developed, designed, and priced products and services in collaboration with the client’s Marketing representatives, ensuring profitability in the industry.
· Developed and designed the company layout for the Profit & Loss (PL) statements within the SAP FI/CO module.
· Developed product cost coding procedures to track profit centers and cost centers (SAP PCA) for the product lines defined by the team for Phase 1 of the project.
· Developed a policy and procedures manual documenting the milestones highlighted for Executive management to be incorporated as a part of the strategic metrics to grow the business by 20% for the next 5 years.
