Situation
The client had just purchased 21 power plants in the Pennsylvania, Maryland, and New Jersey region of the country from a utility client.
Opportunity
Jordayn Consulting was selected to provide project and change management services, including assessments, business process improvement, and merger and acquisition due diligence, with rigorous success.
Action
Led a 6-month SAP project and a critical merger and acquisition effort involving the validation of the purchased assets.
Results
The successful project resulted in the following critical deliverables:
· Established and documented a weekly accounting review process of the project charges, which included due diligence work, bank financing, asset valuation, and risk management analysis.
· Developed an annual budget to track planned vs. actual spending for the client on the project expenses.
· Developed a policy and procedures guide for onboarding new staff members at the work location.
· Assisted the trading and operations personnel in New Jersey by coordinating a smooth relocation of the receivables and power purchase agreements during the transition.
